Our Mission

Helping Hearts of Florida is a nonprofit organization that honors the lives of babies gone too soon and provides bereavement support to women, children, and families.

Love & Remembrance

with tenderness and compassion

Most hospitals and medical institutions typically do not provide the resources for parents and families to honor their babies after miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss, or to understand the emotions they are facing. At Helping Hearts of Florida, we fill that gap by providing support and bereavement materials that recognize life and encourage women, children, and families with tenderness and compassion.

Our Story

As a mother who experienced the grief of infertility and infant loss firsthand, founder Danielle Kinkade began Helping Hearts of Florida to help others experiencing the same. Receiving the news that her son had Bilateral Multicystic Dysplastic Kidney Disease (MCDK) at her 20-week ultrasound, Danielle gave birth to her son Mak at 33 weeks and said goodbye to him only four short hours later. Fortunately, Danielle and her family received loving support and encouragement from their medical facility, family, and friends, but that is not the case for everyone. Danielle and her agency of volunteer moms of heavenly babies are on a mission to ensure every mother and family knows their baby is loved and remembered.

in loving memory

This Community of women helping women was established in honor of three beloved boys: Mark Andrew Kinkade Jr. (MAK), Reid Odum, and Weldon Register.
